About us
We believe that no one in our community should face hunger.
That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to people in Coalville.
We are part of a nationwide community of food banks, supported by Trussell, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
Coalville Foodbank has been open since 2013. The food bank is a project founded by local churches and community groups, working together towards stopping hunger in our local area.
We are open Tuesday and Friday mornings between 10:00 and 12.30 for collections of food parcels.
We run on a referral basis and have over 50 referring agencies working with our clients within the LE67 postcode area. We work on referral because we know that our agencies can help support out clients through their difficult circumstances. We will support a client for as long as needed as long as they engage in the help required.
